- Funding guidelines are updated and applications are accepted on an annual basis.
FIM Opportunities
These grants could be used for partners engaged in Food Is Medicine efforts within communities to amplify and/or demonstrate the connection between food, culture, and health.
For example, the National Museum of Women in the Arts, Inc., used grant funding for a virtual exhibition and related online activities that explores the cultural impact of food, family, and home.
The online exhibition will feature works by contemporary artists that reflect on a range of cultural practices and ethnic and ancestral identities. The project will include a series of talks and workshops and programming that examines the cultural aspects of food and healing as well as contemporary concerns related to global hunger, food deserts, and shortages.
