FIM Opportunities
One of Healthy People 2030’s five overarching goals is specifically related to social determinants of health (SDOH) — the conditions in the environments where people are born, live, learn, work, play, worship, and age that affect a wide range of health, functioning, and quality-of-life outcomes and risks. In line with this goal, Healthy People 2030 features many objectives related to SDOH, such as food insecurity.
Healthy People 2030 also includes objectives on health care access and utilization, chronic diseases and conditions, and nutrition and healthy eating.
