The 2015 Edition Health IT Certification Criteria is a guide for health information technology professionals. It builds on past rulemaking to make it easier for clinical health information functions to be compatible. This edition includes new and improved certification criteria, standards, and guidance for implementation. This final rule takes into account public comments and continues to focus on setting up a nationwide health information infrastructure.
