Supports community-based organizations to develop produce prescription programs that promote access to healthy foods for pregnant and postpartum women and their families in low-income and medically underserved areas.

Addresses an innovative option that states may consider employing in Medicaid Managed Care programs to reduce health disparities and address unmet health-related social needs (HRSNs).

Gives states additional flexibility to design and improve their programs by approving experimental, pilot, or demonstration projects to promote the objectives of Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP).

Offers special supplemental benefits for the chronically ill (SSBCI) to certain chronically ill enrollees, which may include nutrition-related supplemental benefits.

Standardizes the information special needs plans are collecting about enrollees’ housing, food, and transportation needs.
