The Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee will hold its fourth meeting on January 23 and 24 at the USDA Children’s Nutrition Research Center in Houston, Texas. Members of the public are able to attend the meeting in-person or view by webcast after registering online.

Are you a recent graduate interested in health promotion, physical activity, or health policy? The Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (ODPHP) is seeking applicants for three Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE) fellowship opportunities. The Community Strategies Division seeks two participants with a background in public health and health policy to be involved in the Healthy People initiative. An additional fellow will join the Division of Prevention Science to support the dissemination and implementation of the Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans, 2nd edition and the National Youth Sports Strategy.
