The National Clinical Care Commission (the Commission or NCCC) is seeking written comments about federal diabetes prevention and treatment programs.
The public comment period is open from January 15, 2020 through February 3, 2020. You’re invited to review and comment on a set of questions about diabetes prevention and treatment — including questions about specific recommendations for federal agencies, best practices, and limitations and gaps in federal programs.
The Commission is charged with evaluating federal diabetes programs — including programs that focus on complications from diabetes. The Commission will work until October 2021, when it will submit a final report to Congress and the Secretary of Health and Human Services with its recommendations. Your comments will help inform this report.
Public comment is an essential part of the Commission’s work. Members of the public — both individuals and organizations — are invited to review and submit their comments on federal diabetes prevention and treatment from January 15, 2020 to February 3, 2020.
Let’s work together to improve federal diabetes prevention and treatment programs in the United States. Learn more about the questions available for comment and how to submit your comments.
