This clinical practice guideline provides information about the use of pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) to reduce people’s risk of getting HIV. This is an update to an earlier guideline, and revisions are meant to update the evidence base or to clarify specific points in clinical care. There were no changes to graded recommendations for the use of PrEP.
