Interventions to Prevent Hearing Loss Caused By Noise at Work

About this resource:

Systematic Review

Source: The Cochrane Collaborative

Last Reviewed: July 2017

The review included studies on non-pharmacological interventions to reduce work-related noise exposure and prevent hearing loss. Researchers found low-quality evidence that stricter legislation can reduce noise in workplaces and moderate-quality evidence that properly used earplugs reduce noise exposure.
