Supporting individuals with dementia includes providing care aimed not just at accommodating cognitive impairments, but also supporting whole-person care. People with dementia often rely on the support of partners, caregivers, and a wide range of professional services. 

This National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine report examines the body of evidence regarding dementia care to inform decision-making about interventions that can help improve the lives of people with dementia and their caregivers.
