About this resource:

Systematic Review

Source: The Cochrane Collaborative

Last Reviewed: November 2018

In this Cochrane systematic review, the Cochrane Collaborative found that strategies to improve the implementation of health promotion policies and practices in workplaces probably don’t make much difference. The review included studies looking at strategies to improve the implementation of policies or practices related to:

  • Tobacco use
  • Alcohol use
  • Nutrition
  • Physical activity
  • Obesity

Researchers noted that the little evidence available is inconsistent and that more research is needed.
