Hide or highlight demographic groups:

Zoom in and out:

About disparities data

• Disparities data are not available for subnational (i.e. state-level) data.
• The “show disparities data” toggle is only available when there are disparities data to display.
• Disparities data are not available for all objectives and demographic groups.
• Disparities data are never available for the “total” group or the “all groups” selection.
• When comparing data for more than 1 year, only the highest and lowest population groups are shown. To see data for all available groups, select a single year.
• When viewing disparities data over a range of time, Confidence Interval (CI) and Standard Error (SE) data are not shown. To see CI/SE data, select a single year.
• When viewing a single year of disparities data, the tooltip that appears when hovering over a datapoint will show the Rate Ratio with either a x or ÷ before the value. To learn more about this calculation, see the disparities data page linked below.

Understanding terminology

• Data for “United States” refer to the national data used to track the objective when collected as part of a national data system or from all states in a state-based system.
• Data for “all reporting states” refer to the overall estimate when either:
  • Data are not collected from all states in a state-based system, or
  • State-level data need to be aggregated across multiple data years to improve reliability
