Target-Setting Method
Minimal statistical significance

Summary

About half of new cases of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) each year are in adolescents. Condoms can prevent some STIs, but many sexually active adolescent boys didn’t use a condom the last time they had sex. Evidence shows that giving out condoms may get adolescents to use condoms more often.
