In line with this focus, we provide literature summaries that offer a snapshot of the latest research related to SDOH. These summaries explore a range of key factors — such as discrimination, social cohesion, access to health services, and poverty — and examine how these issues can impact health outcomes and health disparities. Each SDOH literature summary now includes a synopsis of related Healthy People 2030 objectives and relevant Healthy People 2030 evidence-based resources. We’ve also organized the summaries by the 5 SDOH domains so it’s easy for you to see with which SDOH domain they’re associated:
