Coming Soon: Opportunity to Provide Input on the Draft Physical Activity Guidelines Midcourse Report on Older Adults

A draft of the Physical Activity Guidelines Midcourse Report on Older Adults (Midcourse Report) will soon be available to review and provide public comment.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) developed this Midcourse Report to summarize evidence-based settings, strategies, and interventions that can be used to increase physical activity among older adults. The Midcourse Report will reinforce the amounts and types of physical activity older adults need, highlight the common barriers to physical activity in this population, and emphasize what works to get older adults moving.

Once the draft is made available, public comments will be accepted for 2 weeks.

More information will be posted soon.
