Today, HHS and USDA will hold a public meeting to gather input from interested parties on the Scientific Report of the 2025 Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee. Published in December, the Scientific Report contains the findings and advice to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) from the 2025 Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee.
The meeting will take place today from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM ET; registration to attend the meeting is still open.
In addition to registering to attend the public meeting, the public may also provide written comments to HHS and USDA through February 10, 2025. HHS and USDA will consider all comments received as the two departments develop the next edition of the Dietary Guidelines for Americans.
