Add MyHealthfinder Content and Recommendations to Your Website

ODPHP’s MyHealthfinder offers personalized recommendations for clinical preventive services and expert-reviewed health information on more than 100 prevention and wellness topics. Our free web content tools make it easy to add MyHealthfinder content to your website in English or Spanish. Plus, when you use our content tools, any updates made on the MyHealthfinder website will automatically appear on your site — so you never have to worry about keeping that information up to date.

Connect Your Users with Personalized Health Recommendations

The MyHealthfinder tool provides personalized screening and vaccine recommendations based on age and sex. There are two different ways to add the tool to your website:

  • The widget places the MyHealthfinder tool in a box on your website. When a user enters their age and sex in the box, the tool will display personalized recommendations — right there on your site.
  • The web badge also places the MyHealthfinder tool in a box on your site, but it works a bit differently from the widget. With the web badge, when a user enters their age and sex, they will be directed to the MyHealthfinder website to view their personalized recommendations.

Add Evidence-based Health Information to Your Site

With the MyHealthfinder API (application programming interface), you can share actionable, evidence-based health information from MyHealthfinder on your website. For example, use the API to display all food and nutrition-related topics or content that’s relevant to specific groups, like older adults or pregnant women. Although the API is an online resource, its content can be cached (stored) to be used in offline or slow connection scenarios.
