ODPHP invites organizations that support youth sports to become National Youth Sports Strategy (NYSS) Champions. NYSS Champions work to promote youth sports in their communities and help achieve the NYSS vision: that one day, all youth will have the opportunity, motivation, and access to play sports.

Who can become an NYSS Champion?
Your organization can apply to become an NYSS Champion if it:
- Promotes youth sports — for example, by offering youth sports programs or providing financial support
- Has a mission that aligns with the NYSS vision
- Agrees to sign a partnership agreement and trademark license to outline how the organization supports the NYSS vision
Note: Individuals are not eligible to apply.
What are the benefits of being an NYSS Champion?
ODPHP will recognize and list NYSS Champions on its website and provide a digital NYSS Champion badge that organizations can use on their own websites. NYSS Champions will also get information, tools, and resources to spread the word about the NYSS and promote physical activity.
For more information about becoming an NYSS Champion, check out the Federal Register
