The Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (ODPHP) is pleased to announce the next webinar in the Healthy People 2030 Webinar Series: Cancer Prevention and Healthy People 2030: Goals, Objectives, and Implementation. This webinar will take place on Wednesday, September 14 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm ET.

Healthy People 2030 has an increased and overarching focus on social determinants of health (SDOH). In line with this focus, we provide literature summaries that offer a snapshot of the latest research related to SDOH. These summaries explore a range of key factors — such as discrimination, social cohesion, access to health services, and poverty — and examine how these issues can impact health outcomes and health disparities. We’ve updated all of the summaries, which are now available!

ODPHP is excited to announce 3 new Healthy People 2030 core objectives and 1 new research objective — the first new objectives since the launch of Healthy People 2030 in August 2020.
